Subsurface Media brings the work of Florida photographer and cinematographer Brian Dombrowski to the Internet. Brian is an experienced diver and photographer continuously building a unique portfolio of quality marine images and ocean footage. This library is available for licensed stock use through this site.

We were one of the first to offer true full-resolution 16:9 wide underwater footage using the Sony HD HC7 and the PDX10 3-chip DVCAM. Our clients can choose to download footage from our FTP server or take delivery on digital tape.

Our still images are all shot on film using housed Nikon SLR equipment. Clients can access high-res scans through our FTP server. We can supply duplications as well.

If your production or project requires underwater photography or video services,
we are happy to work with your team on a contract basis. We have experience
in television, documentary, print, and web projects. Please contact us with

Tortugas 2008 photo and video Trips - Scheduled to be back in the Dry Tortugas in June and July shooting more HD underwater stock video. There is still room left on the July trip, July 10-13. Coral Research HD Stock video - We have hours and hours of underwater HD stock footage from an 8-day research trip in 2007. Divers performing scientific coral reef monitoring and tests, along with lots of tripodded lock shots of various reef scenes.

Yucatan Cenote 16:9 stock video - Bagged hours of great 16:9 cenote video during a week long visit to Mexico's Yucatan in 2007. Cavern and cave diving stock, including some great lock shots of various scenes. Various top-side scenes along the Rivera Maya also.

Baby Loggerhead Turtle Hatch Video - In 2005 and 2006, we partnered with researchers and shot baby turtle hatches at night using infrared light. Three hatches where captured on video, with one occuring during a red tide fish kill, making for some high impact scenes, as babies turtles crawl over dead fish to reach the water.
